3. What are the benefits of being a FOSL member?
* SPECIAL EVENTS * GUEST SPEAKERS * COMMUNITY ADVOCACY * SUPPORTING LITERACY
FOSL members are always welcome to attend special events, especially National School Library Week (second week in October) guest speakers and informative presentations. Previous event topics include cyber-bullying, learning about the new multi-literacies, even a fashion show featuring favorite storybook characters
Guest speakers include educators (i.e. teacher-librarians, University professors, doctoral students, and prominent educational researchers)
4. How long does my FOSL membership last?
Once you have joined FOSL, you are a lifetime member - just make sure to let your teacher-librarian contact know if your e-mail / contact info. has changed.
