Their web site allows you to view a mini guide by typing in the name of the place you want to visit. It includes an overview, a list of places to see, information on restaurants, hotels, the arts, etc. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations/ Lonely Planet guides are excellent sources. You can type in your destination and get info. It will give you an introduction to the place first--a brief history and travel recommendation; then click on travel guides on the left and it will take you to more info. on the region. |
